Hello mate, i've ridden a 2008 blade for 3 years now and the 2012 does feel better.....ok, its not night and day different, but it does just feel that bit better in all areas. Now, i don't know if to share this or not but as i don't think i'll be buying it i will - Lings have an ex-demo 2012 blade with just 150 miles on it for £9995. A bargain for sure. Get on the phone right now as it won't be available for long!
Thanks for that. I have spoken to the guys at lings about a repsol as well. I fancy all the kit offered with the 2010/2011 bikes as I have ridden both now and didn't think there was a major difference as I am amutur really! I've ridden many bikes and most are awesome! What colour is there ex demo do you know?
Its the red and white.....I wasn't a fan intitially but its growing on me now, and i like it muchly. My favourite colour is still the HRC white (I sound like a big girl!) Don't worry too much about all the "kit", it doesn't cost the earth, particularly if you buy on ebay or from Cox Honda where he'll give you the best part of 20% off. Seat cowl, hugger and screen for the 2012 wil be about £400 with 20% off.....

I've got an answer for that too....there is a full set of black 2012 fairings on ebay - buy them, swop the clothes, and you're a happy man. a black 2012 blade for just over £10k.....happy days!! You won't get a deal on the 2012 blade i'm pretty sure.....I tried almost every dealer in the country and no-one would drop below RRP.
Made a decision. After speaking with a dealer I've been told unofficially that 0% will be offered on the 2012 model soon. I don't like paying interest on things I buy. So my plan is now to be patient (which is very hard to do!!!!) and wait for the new deals. Now I love the black with the gold wheels. So Im going to buy a black 2012 and get the wheels powdercoated gold. It will look awesome I think as the 2012 has a black frame and swingarm. So thank you for all you advice and responses so far and watch this space for a tricked out 2012 with gold wheels!
So the blade is ordered!!!! 2012 black ABS. I was going to get a 2010 black as I like the gold wheels but though why not get the new one and get the wheels done gold and buying a 2010 the bike is nearly 2 years old before i start. Paid a deposite to get it ordered as they are short on ABS models aparently. New stock expected start of next month. Also hopefully Honda will have a better finance deal on then if not gonna have to pay a little interest i guess. Will get some pics up when I have the bike

Well I was told by the dealer I'm using that I can wait to see what deals they are gonna do on finance even if in order it today. He's happy to keep the bike for me so I though what the hell! The abs list price is 12k but I havnt haggled yet. Dealer has hinted that he will do something with the price and throw in some free kit. Going there next week to sort the deal out.
Congrats Phantom, you won't regret it. I admire your ability to change your mind overnight - i'm exactly the same. IMO get the seat cowl, hugger, screen and rim tape.....saw a black one dresed in that kit and it looked very tasty indeed. i love black but swore i would never do it again. You may want to think about ventureshield or something, or you may not be a tart like me and just ride it without worrying!
The venturesheild is already ordered! Along with everything else you mentioned! Wheels gonna be done gold so leaving the rim tape!
I'm constantly in the money trap!! Off to confirm the deal on thursday with some haggling to be done. Only parted with £100 to get te bike on order. Hopefully get some kit thrown in to save myself some money! Hang on.... I'm on the power commander website here! :-/
