Is it me or are the front brakes.................... well rubbish???

    Been following this thread as i thought my brakes lacked power and originally put it down to the pads, but having cable tied the brake lever overnight and then bled the lines the normal way from the top down, they feel quite solid now. Just need to check them on the road now.

    Do the master cylinder first!!!!! It is the highest point and collects the air. Then do the right hand caliper being the nearest then the other. Keep the rubber diaphragm in the master cylinder for the final 'Quick bleed' on the calipers as this causes a vacuum in the system that Pulls the caliper pistons back into their bores when released to stop the pads from dragging onto the discs.

    I have found the brakes on my 2011 repsol to be very good, ABS and all. they are even better now the front forks don't dive under even light braking. I had brembo mono's on my speed triple and these are just as good
