ive disconnected the pcv to eliminate any mis-wirings that i might have done. Flooding is a possibility but still between attempts i have left considerable time. ive had the stator changed a couple of weeks ago and battery checked out ok so do think it is that. crushed fuel line, i lifted the tank slightly and tried to start it. No luck. All i wanted to do was go for a quick spin
as silly as this sounds, have you reconnected the 2 multi plugs on the bottom of the tank??, i only ask as i forgot yesterday when installing my pcv, easy done! lol
I had to admit defeat and take it the mechanic. Verdict is that the spark plugs were really dirty and that was stopping it from starting. It appears you can make a mess by using the wrong map. I tried maps stock map and mivv x Map from power commander website. How was I supposed to know European Map wasn't the correct one? Anyway he has recommended the auto tune addon for the power commander so I don't have to have it dyno'd. Anyone use the auto tune ? Reccomended ??
Not on the Blade but I have used an AT. I will put in on the blade at some point though. Its a great tool but dont believe the marketing spiel that its PnP. Essentially it is PnP but you really need to understand the AT before you can get the best out of it. There are areas (TP and rpm) where the AT really suffers and should be disabled. Ideally you need a dyno map as a reference for the AT to work off. If it starts trimming a lot you need to sit back and analyse whats happening dont just accept it. Don't think it's just a case of setting AFRs and forgetting about it.
I've only fitted a power commander to A 600rr in 06 so my memory might not be that good so bear with me. U have upper and lower injectors I'm sure I plugged mine in to lower injectors. The only problems I know of is people plugging into upper injectors, when plugging into tps sensor the plug on bike the pins push out so they don't make contact and by bypassing the power commander the faults still there
