Great looking trip Si, off back to Baden Baden this year myself via the Ring, awesome riding the B500 and I fell foul of the T junction as well !
Fantastic trip, Si. Great pics too - loving the contrast you got. How did you get them that good? Did you workflow them for HDR or something?
Ace write up that. I've done a two similar trips myself but not enough pictures of it. I'm planning on riding to Mugello next year for the GP but want to take in some great roads along the sway and give myself a couple of days based somewhere to explore the local roads in Tuscany. So much to see round there (Ducati, Ferrari, Tavullia, Pisa, San Marino etc). Can't wait. Even the planning gets me excited!
Just imported to Lightroom mate, all shot in Raw. No contrast added, just a bit of saturation and whites taken away on some... a lot, like on the train and winery, needed to be de-noised as it was shot at 12000-20,0000 iso as i left my flash at home and it was very low light..
Fantastic reading Si. I am leaving this Sunday for Vaiden (Luxembourg) then into Germany heading for Cochem and Baden Baden (B500 and B48) on Monday 9th June. Tuesday into Switzerland for overnight stop, and then returning through the Black Forest and back home late Thursday. Weather forecast 32', cant f***ing wait.
