just giving this thread a little bump after todays meet im sure a few people are chomping at the bit to get out again, will have to bump again when some of the boys get back from scotland as im sure a few of them will be joining us updated my first post as well to make it easier for everybody to see the details of planned day

FTAO anyone attending this run on Sunday!! There are two new camera vans in the vicinity,! Both have no livery, are grey and most importantly they have forward AND rear facing cameras! They were situated at the approach to Horton in Ribblesdale and also about half way between Ribblehead Viaduct and Hawes. Please also be aware that the force run a blue unmarked Subaru and a gun metal Golf with blacked out rear windows! As with just about anywhere they seem to be running some kind of operation to trap speeding bikers. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!
Just noticed that north yorks have maps up for crash sites on their patch including this one covering around squires, WTF is causing so many people to crash on the bit from squires to the A1, it's not a particularly bad bit of road ?
Could be the blind bend with adverse camber, blind crest & blind junction, concealed bridge and crash hotspot?? That coupled with the fact that people always leave squires givin it beans and showin off their exhaust/ wheelie ability or whatever
The only place I've ever seen a crash on there though was someone who didn't make the turn for the A63 and went right up the bank. Maybe they're putting something other than marshmallows in the hot chocolate.

So once again I'll be taking lead and will be setting off from Saltoakes Rd. just off junction 33 of the M6 ( No Mr. Rushforth not junction 36! ).Come off M6 down to roundabout, turn left and then take second left. Meeting at 10 o'clock with a view to arriving at Devil's Bridge at 10.30 for cup of tea. Leaving Devil's about 11 and arriving in Hawes to meet our Eastern Brothers at 12.00. Another brew and set off when everyones ready to Hartside ETA 2.30 ish. If you guys from Chester, Lymm area can arrange your meet times down there, I'm sure Fez will sort it at his end. Weather's looking dryish up to now but things can change! I'm a fully paid up member of the "Rain Squad" after Scotland so I will be there come rain or shine!
