yeh it is looking dry at the moment but as said there is every possible chance that it can still change, fingers crossed, it wouldnt be a forum meet without a bit of the wet stuff would it
For locals Warrington Wirral Mancs. Barney .Meeting at Lymm services for fuel and take off leaving fueled up at 9 .20 latest collecting The FireBloke and next stop Devils Bridge for a couple of baps .
I wonder if The Settle Fox has got his suspension sorted ? Only chance of doing him over Hawes is if we remove his forks
I Believe his suspension is tweaked and he has had a service(the bike that is ) so I think the fox will be flying with Andy I am sure on his tail with the rest of us playing catchup . Weather looks great so should be a good day .
Have a safe ride out , I have to be back at 4pm , so won't have the time now , But I will have the chance for a ride out tomorrow , but not the northern run ,
CBR1 is also joining us his only request is a lump of pie and chips at Hartside .There maybe a chance of Trev also coming down from scotch (assuming ) the fucker sets off now.
sorry guys i'm letting you down again as i have to be home early...... i am meeting up with the Lincolnshire lots... i know i'm a betrayer
So, today I picked up my blade from Lancaster Honda. Fitted 2012 rear shock, front forks fitted with new oil and seals and suspension set up. Put the bike in the back of van with wrong key (good job I checked!) first mistake! Asked for my original hugger and 2008 shock back and they can only find my hugger! Don't worry we'll post your shock to you............when we find it! Second mistake! Ask for a receipt and they give me a receipt for £19.99 for the fork oil........What happened to the receipt for 300 big ones for the work done to bike?!!! Oh we'll send that in the post to you with your shock!...........Not a happy bunny! So hopefully tomorrow the wheels won't fall off!.....'Cos that'll really piss me off!
Proper looking forward to the ride tomorrow, sun guaranteed, warm enough, bike suspension working properly (hopefully) and meeting up with good mates........What could be better?
That really is shoddy business that mate. Hope all the work done makes up for it and the bike rides amazingly.
Well the guy who set it up apparently races so he should be quite competent, spoke to him on the phone and he seemed to know his stuff. However I expected a lot more from an official Honda Dealer! Normally I go to Kais at Atherton, Wigan but just fancied a change........we'll see if that was a good decision tomorrow.
