Just got home so contact lens out, shoes off and....No, still got the fricking headache so no booze, just a long cool glass of something sweet and rehydrating. Just an update. The Xbox is definitely shagged. Jeanette's ordered me to bin it, not just put it in the loft, so as soon as her backs turned its a strip down and a spares break down. Fans, fixings etc. I know, she's right, but I can't help myself. The other one looks like it might have been a dodgy HDMI cable, so a new, better quality one seems to have cured it. I'll be keeping an eye on that, thanks Phantom for the warning. The chainsaw session this afternoon went well, but one of the branches got me on the way down, the fcuker. It's like a gurkha's Kukri with me, I can't put a power saw away without drawing blood first.
Well I went out for a few with a work mate by 10:30 he's heading off home (he does live about 8 miles away and managed to get a lift) I was just getting into my stride. Gutted i've just got in with a thirst for a few more pints of rattler
Well that bottle has gone down very well. havent had a drink in the last 2 montjs and i can really feel it. my eyes have stopped working
had a great blast up the local coast today and hit the beer when I got home.......had to get the wife to take me to tesco as I ran out of drink,so now on the forsters, happy again
Just about to get into London village for a night of alcohol fuelled antics. Not meeting my mate until 1600 so I'll have about 2 hours free - "to the pub" I say.
Since my BIL left the navy I'd forgotten that our sworn protectors are already half cut before I get home on a Friday. Still, I wouldn't begrudge you it for a single moment, Icarus. bastard...
First couple down the range, heading to Leicester square soon and a comedy club later. Did I mention that I've been on leave for 3 weeks.
I know that one too and I refuse to rise to it. You guys are on call 24/7 and do a job I would have to be born again bionic to even consider doing, so fill your boots mate. I personally shall be in the 1000rr.co.uk bar from around 5:30 or so this afternoon and will probably there until I have to do that thing where you have to put a hand over one eye so you can type properly. I have issues. I'm aware of that. So I'm buying once the bar flies start drifting in.
Finally got home today after 24 days offshore so have 6 bottles of stella cidre , 12 buds and a litre of Eristoff vodka for tonights entertainment. On my 2nd stella now
Another one on the Cidre, and maybe just maybe an Absinth later on as a special Bank Holiday treat .........
