I'm looking in my wife's drinks cabinet, or the spare room as the estate agent called it and trying to decide beer or spirits...

I'm in the mood for wine but I drunk it all last week and haven't replaced it yet and can't be arsed to go to Tesco.

    Guidance?

Well, considering your age I would go for the spirits or you’re going to be up all night going to the loo more then usual.

Just cracked open the wine, and plan on a few Jeager Bombs.
Trapped in the house with 2 woman watching celeb, with all of my "friends" busy doing other stuff.

Nothing else for it. I'm getting smashed

That would also be my best diagnosis. Trust me, I'm a doctor.

I myself have been drinking slowly and steadily since kick off of the England Australia game and by full time decided there was no good reason to stop.

Beer and spirits for me tonight, I'm starting to feel old, I used to be able to drink until stupid hours get up for work at 4am then do it all again that evening.
Now I have to plan drinking when I have 2 days off! The first day is normally wasted in bed feeling shit, what's happened too me?
Oh well feels good now lol

Urggghhhh!!! Why do I do this to myself? Kids won't shut up! They are having far too much fun in my opinion.
I'm sure I must of been nice and quiet for my parents

Off out to a wedding reception in an hour (not important enough for the actual wedding).
A few alcoholic beverages will be drank in honour of the happy couples (joint wedding).
I will be late for work in the morning (pre booked a late start)

    "Too...much...port"

You see, I recognise the words and individually I comprehend their meaning but put together in that order they just don't make sense.

We had 2 bottles of port between 4 of us plus other drinks.

Tonight it looks like Preston or Blackpool again, I've got half a bottle of mead and a couple of ciders in the fridge for before I head out. Going for a run followed by a bath prior to going out though.

Well, is there anyone else in tonight?...

Having a Baileys by the bottle Ken, let me know how the lift goes, I could perhaps use one later myself.
