One does try, but to be fair I'm not as quick as Jase whose a bit younger than Moi or most of the other serious Track Day'rs! Getting there slowly though!
I'm 30 and starting to get a head like a badgers arse lol.... Anyway, beer o clock.... As I'm still drowning my sorrows
Wedding Anniversary today, 27 years. Took a days leave and took the wife out for the day. Ended up at Helmet City, treated myself to a nice RX7 GP as an anniversary present, cracking day had by all and she was chuffed with her flowers.
Lol, I'd never get away with taking my Mrs to a Bike shop on our Anniversary! Would have to be a Girly shopping trip and a nice lunch or a Spa Day!
Lol!!! Yeah man up jay.... I take Lisa banger racing, followed by go karting and paintball.... NOT! Congratulations though Kent - 27 years is some achievement.
Thanks JV, yep my missus deserves a medal with what she has put up with over that time. In recognition of that devotion, I spent 3 hours trudging around the Royal Palace in Brighton, manfully looking interested, then cooked her a steak supper and splashed out on a cracking Bordeaux from Waitrose, of which she had the odd glass in 5.......who says romance don't last?
It's my 28th anniversary next week. We've been invited to a wedding, so... ...Jeanette's bought herself a new frock complete with all essential (so I'm assured) mods, I get to take her to a 5 star hotel for the whole day, with two meals thrown in and all her friends there around her, and... ...all it cost me was a John Lewis voucher for a toaster or some such bollocks. I might try it again next year...
We were in Rome for our 25th, wandered along to St Peters and the pope was out on his verandah, blessing the masses. I told her there and then, not to expect it every year.
