Man I miss this thread..... I've literally just finished a week of hell, sectional completion on my project up against it from a client who keep instructing change but want delivery.... Lots of politics involved (literally) so will leave it there. Just on a train home and realised Dave V drunk my last fucking beer whilst feeding my dog for me yesterday..... Now heading home to a dry house!! Think the garage will get raided for the red stock but not sure of anything decent.... Gutted. Ps - awesome bringing this back online
Well, wines finished and since we couldn't agree on what the song was for our first dance, she's dug the wedding video out Time to break out the malt
Cracking days riding, lunch in Whitby & managed to get a cheeky bottle of soon to be glugged dry white under the jacket from the local A convivial evening of seafood paella & squiffyness in my onesie watching zombie movies beckons
Any specific ones? Can't wait for the new series of The Walking Dead, but it seems BT have bought the rights in the UK to help launch their new AMC channel
Probably Zombieland or world war z on dvd seen em before but you can disengage brain whilst on the vino
Tell you what I watched last night that was really good, was Black Sea http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2261331/ A good british film with a good end to it. Also watched The Theory Of Everything http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2980516/ Sad end, but a great story.
Went for a ride wearing the full leather romper suit... bumped in to my pops who proceeded to piss his pants at the sight of me in my black leather condom... been on the vino since, lost count of the bottles we've sank... fun afternoon!
' What's that Lassie...Timmie's fallen down the well....and he's being eaten by zombies!!!' Yep... sounds good to me
Be nice to hear a review on your findings, Gappy. Being an admirer of the Lynchberg loony juice myself.
It's nice enough... same flavours are there, just ever so slightly smoother. However, I never thought standard JD was particularly harsh, so smoothing it out just isn't needed... all its done is taken it a small step closer to Southern Comfort! I was hoping it would have more woody notes, maybe even a slight hint of smokeyness, but it simply smacks of standard JD that's been watered down a little. DISCLAIMER - as an ex-smoker and curry/chilli addict, my tastebuds are FAR from sophisticated I was once bought a bottle of JD Silver Select... now that is well worth a try!
Meh, I drove to Preston on Friday night so didn't have a drop until late on when my sister-out-laws fella made me a T&G (it was rather strong). I'm enjoying a bottle of rouge at the moment.
Southern comfort.... Did somebody mention Southern comfort.... Oooooh, now you're talking... My son has forgotten I have a passion for that, all he gets me now is Bombay Sapphire... Might need to chuck him a gentle reminder. Well, when I see this thread I feel the need for a drinky poos. Will finish this glass of wine and then open the Bombay he got me at the weekend and pretend it's Southern comfort
Biiiig glass of vino while I wait for the curry to arrive and then it's an evening in with Mr Rossi & Co.....hope they hurry up I'm on the 3rd glass already
