    First time I have read through this great right up/pictures Jimbo and gutted I can't do the trip with you next year it looks like you had a blast .

    Can't do the dates mate as my busy period is April to August so can't holiday until after August .:(

    was just looking for some photo's of the cars at the ring to show a pal at work, knew they'd be on this thread....

    god i miss my tours..... :(

    I agree, it's good to have a read up on some of the past trips, it gives one inspiration :)

    Best times I've ever had on a bike.
    New bike for me next year and plan on going on a few tours with it.

    Looking into a trip to Skye in the spring to do some photography as a dip the toe in so to speak. With the few bikes you have mentioned mate looking forward to seeing what you get

    Skye in Spring is a bit of a no go mate. It'll still be properly frosty to be honest. Late spring maybe.

    Been a few times on the bike, and normally late summer.

    Best times to hit Skye would be late May till mid September.

    Thanks for that mate, will look a bit later and have a good look at the threads on here for how much time to take off and best scenic routes.
    Be good to get up to stornoway too .maybe put some faces to names on the way.

    If you get the weather.... West coast and Skye is totally amazing....

    Can be fun in the wet too ;)
