Well what can I say... Been a great day! Weather is glorious... Track dried up (mainly but still tricky out there) by lunch time ready for my track assessment. Went fine and was a doddle tbh, grid start was awesome and really got the heart pumping, god knows how it's going to cope with the real thing!! Signed on for the afternoon and just about to head out for my 3rd and last session. Dave rode up on of chance and got out also.... Touch! Oh and I now have an acu license. Get in!! Buzzing to say the least..... Some pics to follow

Mine already!! 1 thing though.... Trying to run with the quick boys, really noticed my fitness... 8 weeks intense training me thinks!!
He'd have worked a way out. I did, back in the day. With a broken knee. The day of cowboy boots it was. I drilled a big hole in the side of the heel so it fitted over the shifter and rode it from the back seat. What a pratt. Get on Jimbo, we might end up as your entourage yet.

how long until your first race, and any TD or test days before? what I used to do for practice start was at the end of every session I would pull up along the track as if something was wrong with the bike, have a look around at the bike a bit and then try a start and cane it until the next corner and then come in, or on the way out for a session pitlane exit ;-) sure you'll be fine, nothing like and egg in your leathers
Once again, big shout out to Dave!! We were of course late, and bike not 100% ready, I rushed off to class to finish and find the bike fully prepped, on stands, body work on, warmers piping..... And even noise tested!!! Mate your a legend.... Couldn't do it without ya
Td 14th.... First race 29-30 march.... Sounds like a plan, but think ill opt for the "sorry officer, but I need to practices starts!" Route lol
Was ready to leave and getting in van at 7.30 - it's 15 mins away.... "Pop in for a cuppa on way mate and we can head over together..." Got there at 8.55 lol!!!
