Cheers skip, as I said mixed result but was pleased with my pace and times coming down. All good experience. Not putting pressure on myself until I've been to all the tracks
What can I say.... Amazing weekend. Great weather, great racing and amazing support....really was great with quite a few family and friends popping along (but did add a bit of pressure I must admit) In summary I got 6th - just nipped it last corner 8th - lonely race after a great battle at the start, struggled to keep pace and lost my spot few laps from end 7th - similar again and got pipped on straight by 0.09 of a second. Two laps before I was quite clear so must of backed off - was pissed with myself for giving it away 5th - great race and felt fantastic on the bike. Two went down ahead, was confident I had the pace to attack the two in front but they red flagged it 6 laps from the end. Gutted - but that's racing. Put in a 51.1 so pleased with that. Had a right crack round the paddock too which is always awesome.
Cheers mate, tbh, I know I'm good for 5th to 10th on a good run in this class but to get four I was chuffed with. Little pack of us emerging who are becoming pals so its proper epic stuff.... Absolutely no prisoners, them hugs and laughs in parc ferme and a beer round the BBQ in the evening. It's brilliant.
So whats that 6/7 seconds off the pace off the BSB lads What ever it is, a Great effort Jimbo. Proud of you. Well done mate
I'm not sure tbh Gary but someone said super stock record is 46? Aka as an eternity away lol.... Lads in my class put in a 49.5 today, class above 49 and super series 48.5 so a little way to get yet. But I'll keep chipping away ha Thanks though buddy.
Your the man Jimbo fastest lap ever I think is a 46.5 super stock is 47.5 ... Your bloody close Jimbo and only gonna get quicker

Well, this weekend i'll be racing at Cadwell with my team mate Jase.... only done 1 TD there and tbh I don't like it, busy with work so no time to test, and what with being away last month and missing a round it'll be two months since I've been on track and the 1st turn of a wheel on sat will be qualifying Will be interesting no doubt, hopefully the weather will be ok, but Dave is coming to drink and spanner , Bruce my pal is coming up for the weekend and my dad is coming for both days so should be a laugh.... Not really expecting much tbh, going to try and get settled in Sat and see what I can do on Sun. Be happy with a top 10 and putting my demons of the go kart track to bed fcuk it.... what's the worst that could happen lol
thanks mate... it's not like I didn't enjoy riding there, but i'm not loving the thought of racing there tbh! don't think the track suits my style at all... i'll plug away at 1.40 and if I can get near that i'll be happy.... either way sure it'll be some epic close racing
No mate, they charge to watch us bunch of idiots.... and not cheap either! but if you are popping down pm me or jase as there might be some spare tickets flying around
