A good test of straight line speed against my '06 Blade, an early R1 and a 2012 onwards Blade @ 5:20

 

the blade was gaining on you but backed out at the last

 

cracks me up the one at 3.08 and the other at 4.41 have to cheat to get past you

 

Yep, he would have had me if it wasn't for the cones creating a slight chicane. The same thing happened to me numerous times, but the chicane is there to slow you down towards the end of the straight. Only 1 bike at a time can get through at full speed, then it's on the brakes and down to 4th.

lol. Both guys were with me. 3:08 is a 2011 Blade, he forgot about the chicane, but it was too late to brake at around 170mph. Wouldn't have made any difference.
4:41 is one of the guys I go with on a CB500. I don't know if he meant it, but we knew he'd lose his momentum me if he went for the turn.
