They do look good in that paint scheme The MT's are a special though, I'm certain they are not factory, Possibly done by Dream Machine
Yeah, I've seen that and can't blame you for the temptation!! They command good money now and are highly sought after. Many might cringe at the yellow/black, but for me it's a winner.
I love the KR edition paint. Stunning. My 09 Blade was up there in my top bikes but if you had ridden the R1 Loz I think you would have been hooked! They go really well and feel like they weigh nothing.
Got my Christmas pressies fitted. Screen angel dash protection, https://ibb.co/L5zp0R1 Slip screen ice blue lamp protectors, (over £500 for a new headlight, so I don't care how shit they look!) https://ibb.co/YQzY5JV ...and my recently purchased R&G crash protection. https://ibb.co/zf90X7p
Cheers guys. They're called Slipscreens mate and they're around £20. I've gone with the ice blue as when they're lit up they have a blue glow around the perimeter from the thickness of the polycarbonate but they also do black or clear or any other colour really. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Yamaha-M...h=item3d6b183986:g:U7cAAOSwX~dWm4mv:rk:1:pf:0 https://www.slipscreens.co.uk/products/motorcycle-parts/headlight-protectors/?make=12
Have you tried them at night ? I did look at the blue but wondered how much they would dull the lights at night so fitted clear have you fitted with the clear velcro or glue dots ? bostik glue dots are deffo the better option for the clear covers
On the back of my garage door they looked fine. Cheers bud, I’ll get some. I used strips of the HD 3M Velcro they came with.
Here’s mine in the 60th anniversary colours. Picked it up a couple of months ago and have added tail tidy, yoshi 3/4 exhaust and the bar end mirrors. Just waiting for the belly pan to come back from the painters.
It is nice, and I've always been a fan of yellow although not to the taste of many. When I was on the VTR Forum, owners of yellow Firestorms copped some serious ribbing. Seems weird that we all used to ride naked bikes, but now they're a separate sort of classification in the biking world.
