I have a rather nice Ducati Performance one, but the 848's wet clutch is way lighter than the dry anyway.
lol has to be done Arthur. yeah jamie the above pic...not sure of OE bore size as I just bolted mine on and rode off lol didnt have any issues; reason I asked about the ecu was to find out if you had the exhaust servo still in place as I have a brand new servo bypass I was going to stick on ebay....one of these Ducati Superbike 848, 1098 and 1198 Exhaust Servo Eliminator. EVO ok | eBay
I have the performance ecu for the termignoni installed but being a newb I am unsure if and how to remove it ? I can here it motor but no cables move the exhaust valve ? Again there is too much info when I have read it I get confused !!
The DP Termi kit ECU does a cleaning cycle on power up, it opens and closes the EPA noise valve in the system then remains open. You can remove the servo with the unit Phantom has and dump the clutter also lock wire the valve open as with no cables it kind of just flaps around. Or cut it out and weld it back up....that's my style...lol. If you join Ducatidiag then get the connector and USB lead from eBay, request a licence for the FREE software you can rewrite the ECUs to any spec you like, OEM, DP cans, DP full system, whatever....even change the welcome screen text. You can also buy a plate for 20quid that let's you remove the cables and leave the servo in place the only bonus is when you remove the exhaust you don't have to dick around with the cables, the flapper still remains in the system unless you chop it out, Ducati now have stopped making the header system as a kit, so the only way to get the Termi headers is in parts! The cans fit the full systems but like I say now hard to get just the headers.
