i run the same tyre, came with my bike, have 1 fingers worth of strip....is that good or bad for someones that been riding for 3 or 4 weeks?

Sprained my wrist after doing an emergency break on the blade to avoid a damn sheep in the road....bloody thing had bigger balls than me as it didnt budge one bit!

Coming around a bend at ton and then finding a sheep dead in the middle didnt agree with my wrist mate

 

Been there mate scary shit,if it was dead no wonder it never moved and i presume that was kilometres about 60mph

 

It was still alive when i left officer! But seriously, it stared right at me and i was trying to stare down a sheep at 100mph...in the end i chickend out and had to brake as he didnt give a shit! I think he was suicidal, lol.

Yeah i meant kmh...im from Asia, so its natural to have speed in triple digits due to KMH

 

I have never made it to such high speeds on my blade and while staring down a wild animal too.... Braver than me

 

Whats the difference in feel of riding a 200/55 compared to the recommended 190/50?

Like the look at least of the fatter tyre.... just curious about the rest.

 

Sorry mate it is still 190 wide it's not me with the 200 wide as I believe that's a track tyre. Would defo say that the 55profile is the way to go and I won't be going back to the 50profile. Much quicker and smoother turn ins and more grip when putting power down leant over! I mean who wants stability upright in a straight line??

 

In mine I use Front =34, Rear = 38

 

Rookie question.... i need to get a set of tires next month and like the sound of these, question is, if you change the profile on the rear tire do you have to change the profile on the front or do you retain the standard size? Thanks and merry Christmas to you all!
