lol - now complete with flapper mods! ;)

I'm going to tinker with the suspension settings at the weekend as currently its a bit "divey" on the brakes. But apart form that - she's staying totally stock... apart from maybe some cans... and a new MC... and some Brembos... and maybe some others stuff... but apart from that - totally stock ;)

Looks clean enough mate, not to keen on the nose of that particular model not sure if its the paint scheme or not but the k6 and k7 750 look far better.

You should have given one of those a little ride 1st, very very capable bikes.

Anyway get those horrible pipes off, single sided Akro is the way forward on that model.

BTW there is only one true gixer site mate and that is gixerjunkies........

Well Gee Si, maybe i'm not keen on your nose..! ;)

Yes, my ideal is a k8 750 HOWEVER, i was limited to choice as i had to swap it for something in the dealers stock and the 1000 was the only choice.

Also, i think the 1000 will be a lazier ride for a daily and touring machine - less gear changes. But i was trying to seek a 750, alas, it was not possible with the options on the table unless i took a painful loss on the zx12.

I might go for that... ;)

I ACF 50'd the bike and that stuff is great on some parts but headers it is not! Burnt up like a b@stard and pipes look worse now than before!

Mine started off with the twin arrows I prefer the single can look.

And love the hangerless look, I was lucky my mate imports them, I bought it when the yen was weak it cost me £500
There were only two like this carbon with the carbon end cone in the country. I priced it up again
For my L0 gix £1098 ouch lol

Still wish I hadn't had to but basically I saw the L0 in the new colours which I loved so I test rode one, the L0 handles a lot better with the shorter engine and longer swing arm and the BPF, plus they gave me a grand more than anyone else would for it!

It had 173hp at the wheel with just the can as a mod! It was a rocket!

All of the older ones kick out big numbers my new one was 9hp down on this but had only done 7-800 miles on it when it was on the Dyno!
