I've now got one of these... Sealey FPS6 Motorcycle Front Wheel Chock Brand New | eBay any suggestions on how to bolt to the ply floor? Can't get under to get any nuts on the back
Tech Screws straight through ply and in to metal flooring. This one I linked to the other week would have been better IMHO having seen both in the flesh. Warrior Wheel Chock - Fits 12-19" Inch Wheels - Demon Tweeks ...............................too late now though!
I'm fitting something like this in mine this year but modified slightly with some front rotating seats.

The fit out must have cost a fortune on that when new. Guess for a trackday you would take along a generator to supply the electric if no hook up available.
Cheers buddy its my dads good mates he owns a few of them New and Used Motorhomes American RVs he has allowed us to use it when we want so will be doing all the rounds with us next year little bit of comfort and a cold beer fridge. As sine wave said straight through the floor mate just be careful where you bolting you don't catch diesel piping or go into box section
AFter 3 hours its done!! Bit ropey in areas but it will do the trick for racing. I have found out I am no carpet fitter tho! Still need to trim some edges etc and blend it in!!!
Cheers guys!!! All done for 40 quid!! Just need to secure the bike chock and put up a few bits for holding helmets and leathers etc. Dead chuffed

Looks the nuts tyke, did you bother putting anything behind the ply? What size wb is you van (sorry mate, sure it's on another thread, being lazy)
Quick suggestion if you haven't bolted the bike chock down yet. I would personally mount it at the rear of the van as it is the first thing you want to get out at meetings. Put all the spares, generator, WOWs etc at the front of the van so you don't have to unload them to get to your bike. Just a suggestion, but it seems to work for me.
I'd go the other way Robin as I'd prefer to have the Wheel chock and front wheel mounted right up against the Bulkhead so in the event of an accident the Bikes got more of a chance of staying put. YT hasn't got a full metal bulkhead in his van although this is something I'd never be without from a safety viewpoint. Also keeps smells at bay and makes heating the cabin so much easier
That is true Sinewave, if they the bikes are up against a bulkhead, the results from a crash would be reduced. I would certainly agree about a bulkhead, even if it is knocked up in plywood, it will make a big difference to heating and noise while driving. Also, it may be worth installing a caravan style hook up in the side of the van to allow you to plug into the site hook up for power and heating in the back of the van. Can get very cold at night in there.
It had a ply bulkhead which I took out as I want to be able to keep an eye on what's going on in the back and be able to access the front. In terms of warmth the ply boards have 3 rolls of loft insulation behind them and are now covered in domestic carpet. Since I added all this it has been nice and warm and quieter than when it had a bulkhead but no insulation in the back. I could always put a half bulkhead back in as the one that was in before was only 6mm.
That was going to be my next suggestion YT. Install a 1/3rd to 1/2 height Bulkhead that still allows loose stuff and a Wheel chock to be restrained securely in the back in the event of emergency braking or a head on smash but would still allow you to hope over in to the back for a Shag, sorry err to check up on the Bike & gear etc! (Good idea about the Caravan Hook up point inside Robin!)
