Hey lambeth longshanks does the tank bag obscure the instruments like that? Just thinking about where to mount a sat nav if I ended up using the US30 as a tank bag. How much extra is the tank harness and can it be used on more than one bike?
It doesn't obscure my clocks, shipmate. Having said that it depends where you mount it. ie there is a choice of fore and aft mounting positions on the tank harness. And I'm quite tall (6ft2 or so). The Tank (the harness) as Kriega call it is £19. You can certainly use it across several bikes. All you need is a piece of sticky velcro which Kriega will pass your way for nothing. There is also a way to attach it to the subframe on some bikes under the rider's seat without using the velcro fixings but I haven't investigated that yet as my bike's away at the moment.
