I can still see them, shipmate even when I don't log in as a member. Not sure what's happened. I'll put another one up with my new-found photobucket skills!
This was the day that Rossi came second at Le Mans last year. We were nearby. Tipping it down. The race ended as we were standing there. A couple of local lads came up to the town square. One was on an R6. Cannot remember the other. They were revving them off the limiters. Ring a ding like old 2 strokes! What happened next summed up the difference in attitude towards motorcyclists in France and Britain. Windows flew open. But instead of pelting the lads with rotten vegetables or starting a letter to the Daily Mail everyone was cheering and waving at them. I love it over there on a bike. They treat us like royalty. Just to be clear on the bikes. From the back we've got a couple of Speed Triples, a zrx1200, a 1200 Bandit and a small heap of mud and dirt and stuff. Underneath all that filth somewhere is a Fireblade.
