It literally got built on the 4th of February according to VW track my order! It's currently in transit from Germany or Mexico or wherever they're made these days!
there just checking the emissions on it wading through the false documentation hopefully get here before brexit otherwise won't be let in....could be a keeper as a museum pce last of the VW ....Skoda...Seat ...Audi ...BMW ,,,Merc. On British soil.....
I fancy there being VWs on British soil long after everyone has realised Range Rovers are over priced, unreliable, pretentious heaps of shit...... No offence
To right I love looking down from the SVR at all your cheap looking the same poor people carriers....built in the tank factory's in the midlands keeps people here in work.....i love washing my car and mostly being quicker than most things on the road including your rep slow ..also a name of a Spanish petrol station again no class.....never mind ££££££££
Used some of my Lidl nuts and washers today. Woops, sorry guys, got distracted. This is about Range Rovers and imported cars now. Bugger it, I'll start an Aldi one tomorrow!!
Please don't do that N ....a German supermarket chain selling EU biscuits .....shop in morrisons British brand..produce made here.....fish from our shores....apologies all but I am passionate about our great land .
Totally with you. I am a Morrisons regular at Stratford-Upon-Avon and do, whenever possible, try to support British industry. (You must give credit to some of the 'bike equipment' specials these budget operators put up though. Anyway, went to my local Triumph dealer yesterday to query the 'proposed' blinged with carbon and Ohlins Moto 2 rep Daytona. https://www.motorcyclenews.com/news/new-bikes/triumph-daytona-765/ As expected and forecast by a couple of members, no definitive info was available other than to hear that it has been discussed at a recent conference. If I were to seriously consider taking another plunge into a 'collectors' item' I'd want to make damn sure they're not going to be a 'prone to corrosion' model.
I agree N some of the non food deal they do are cracking buys....I will also have a look at the 765.. But it would have to blow me away to get me off my sp also what could ruin it if it's built in Thailand !
Triumph really would need to build it at Hinckley. Have to admit I am hopeful it will happen, the marketing of being able to equate it to a GP2 bike should be fun. When was the last time a production bike was released with a proper GP derived engine? All I can think of is the Desmosedici RR and that was at ridiculous price levels, and Triumph will have the opportunity to start 765 based club racing competitions that could last for years and become the weapon of choice for non litre trackday riders. Opportunity is there, all it needs is Triumph to deliver the quality at the right price. PS Morrisons by me is a manky dimly lit shite hole which Aldi and Lidl pit to shame with the standard of their stores. Luckily we tend to shop at Sainsbury's apart from the Lidle/Aldi specials which have given some great kit over the years.
