yeah but surely you get half the year back if you tax for 6 months and sorn for 6 months, so you only saving £44. I cant be arsed with all that for £40 odd quids, plus I might get out in the winter too if dry... do you still pay the full year of insurance?
I do hope to use it as it's insured all year round, I just never renewed the tax while I was working away. Whether I'll actually manage to get out over winter though is a different question
Me too ......I haz a new mountain bike coming Friday as well It's given it 70° Sunday Which is good news for us who keep our bikes taxed all year round eh Simon
Cube Aim Pro. Ive always had mountain bikes & last one a Kona cost me an arm & a leg but its lasted 16 years!!! I was thinking of getting one of those hybrid bikes with suspension now I'm getting a bit creaky & older but changed my mind & glad I have ....what are you riding Simon?
Same boat as you, still on my 20 year old spealized rockhopper comp but looking at a getting a new hardtail soon, thinking of trying the new 29er's, so toss up between sarazen zenith, Boardman pro 29er, but might go different, still reading reviews lol, just need to get some test rides sorted
Hitchhiked down to fetch the new bike & ride it back Simon & WOW..... massive difference on the 29ers ...... (& as every lady will attest to....every inch matters ) Forgot tho that I'd not swapped me mudguards over & wondered why there was a strange smell of dog pate lingering around me in the cafe half way home.... Found about half a pound splattered up the back of my biker leggings & rear tyre lol Only cost me half of what the Kona did but well looking forward to throwing it around in a bit of Peak District mud tomorrow
looks good lozzy, yeah 29er seem the way to for XC riding, will make up mind and go and buy new one soon yeah need them guards, if its aint dog shit its sheep shit up yer back mud I don't mind have fun
What no tassles on the handlebars or basket on the front Careful with all that power though, you won't be used to it what with you having a Repslo
