For a base 2015 Blade (Non ABS) £12,199 is the retail recommended price........... Which is what I ordered a few weeks ago. The deals can vary, depending how you intend to purchase. Outright Purchase can be had for quite a bit below the rrp if your good at haggling and it's a straight forward purchase (No Finance, No Part Exchange). Purchase on Finance, and there's still some discounts that can be had. Yes, there are new options to the Fireblade, but I like what I know. A new R1 is a lot more expensive than the fireblade, as is the BMW. Yes, there probably will be a redesigned Fireblade for next year, but I hate buying 1st releases of a new model, as there's always some issues that tend to occur over the first year and mods are made during the second year. Look at the 08 fireblades with their crankshaft issues and high oil usage. So realistically I'd wait for a year after the initial release of a new model. The options are there if you want to spend more, but what is probably the last year of the Fireblade as we know it, it's still one hell of a reliable and quick machine, and I'm not sure I could handle a 200bhp bike anyway..... LOL.
