Can't wait to see the finished result ! Putting the infills in the post Monday, as said one is broken but with some araldite and a bit of ingenuity it should be fixable I may have a duke but that's just road candy, not a HRC (will always have its thorough bred history) track bike with a fully fledged racer in control (well holding on ) I'm jealous because if I had a track bike it would be a blade !
Big big milestone reached today. All the fairings have been prepped and sprayed... After much debate at the spray shop, for the desired finish and quality of track fairings, dad convinced me some quality rattle cans, primer and elbow grease would be more than enough to get a decent finish. More than pleased with the result, not perfect, but for a 1st coat (can flatten some bits off and touch up) I think they look excellent. Not bad for £80 and DIY spray job Once again, Dave was there to lend a helping hand. I've gone stealth - Matt black.... You have no idea how badly I want to get these on the bike now
Cheers dude!! Must admit,e and Dave were a bit sceptical of rattle cans, but once again, dad proved me wrong... They are gleaming Get em back on the bike tomorrow and get the decals on Brands Monday!!!
Blinding work, Team JimDaveDad! Looking forward to the finished product, shipmates. I love the teamwork.
Must admit pappa Jimbo was right, they have come out well and saved loads of cash. Best bit was we both had no cash on us and scammed him for the beers too!
Looks great! There's something about bikes in Matt black, love it! Hurry up and fit em now I wanna see the finished product
Here you go mart, they are on!! Couldn't resist As you can guess I'm well chuffed with it... It's marking too easy but once some more stickers get on it, touch up and Matt lacquer (I've been told it exists) it should scrub up nice
That looks the dogs dodah's Jimbo. All you need now. Is A reliable van, and this http://1000rr.co.uk/trackdays/10436.htm
