I have an bronze black 61 plate rra non abs with 13k miles on it.With original black n white fairings etc originals are very very clean loads of extras.all original parts with it may sell all ive got at the right money. To fund a track bike and a cheaper road bike.Circa 7k for the lot would buy it.
Andy, I agree with Bradt, I have 2009 HRC (which is undisputedly the prettiest blade ) and it never took oil.
Wouldn't have an 08 just with the reported high oil consumption on some bikes. Got a few to look at over weekend private and dealerships so lets see what it brings.
Not had an oil burning problem with my 08! If your that scared get a late 09 or 10 plate and spend the rest of the cash on some nice upgrades
Seen a few 08 plates on Ebay, 1 has admitted it smokes alot lol. Honest man. My boss has advanced me some cash so have £7500 but would like to keep some for mods if I buy a standard bike. Hate hunting but love finding the right bike. I can wait a few months now as won't get much use now until next year.
Not a bad time to buy as people start selling a bit cheaper as need cash for Christmas, so worth keeping your eyes and ears to the ground for something
I'm sure Vendy with the 20th anniversary might be interested at £7500, then again it's up to him ,but that's all he'll pull next spring if he has to hang on to it until then, but like I said it's up to him, but if I were him I know what I would do
Had a good chat with VENDY and that's his bottom price what's advertised, good luck to him as he seems a genuine guy. The right bike at the right price will come along. ;-)
I can't say I've ever actually bought a bike cash, always done my bikes on pcp finance which suits me. Mainly because I change them so much! You can get a lot of bike for not a lot of money a month but it isn't for everyone I suppose. As Sideways has stated the letters just reflect the model year. Mine is an RR-D which would be 2013.
I suspect there are a lot of forum members who, just like me, own an ABS bike and are very happy with it but don't want to 'tempt providence' by crowing about it.
