It was the best performer when released in 2008! And was for another 2 years from memory and if memory serves me correct was still quicker 0-60 than last year's S1000RR

If it's not very desirable why does it top the sales sheets year after year?

How can you say this is not desirable, best selling one litre bike between 2008 - 2013 (Quote - Fast Bikes June 2014)......... Obviously more desirable than you thought.

It may not be the ultimate performer in 2015, but it's certainly one of the best performers.

It's bland. There is nothing special about it. It's neither the fastest nor best looking. It's far from that.
Popular Repsol paint scheme is not enough to fix it. Honda needs to come up with something new, because the competition is far ahead.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and fastest doesn't necessarily mean best.

I'll get a Spec Savers Voucher in the mail to you.

I recently purchased my RR8,and did a fair bit of research into which model to get and the 08 onwards won hands down in performance bike mag with the zx10r not so close coming in 2nd,surely it all comes down to personal preference and the fact of natural progression of newer models been better. Still think it's a bit optimistic getting a RR10 for 5.500 k..with low millage.

Its funny how people are divided on the looks of the 08 on bikes when I bought my 10 plate last year looks were a major factor I think its one of the best looking litre sports bikes out there just being pipped by the apprilia as for performance, on the road I don't think there's much in it between any of them

Agree totally, it's personal preference and there's nothing much between them in the "Real World".......... It's all down to the rider and I'm nothing special, so a good rider on a less powerful bike will be the faster........ Personal Preference.
