Nice, where is your heated grips box and tax disc holder fitted to ? Get ventureshield ,you know it makes sense !
Yes, got Bollocked off the Wife for spending a few hundred more on that plate, but I thought I'd embrace the whole 'un-lucky for some 13 thing' and role with it like the Chinese do! Two of my other mates have bought litre bikes in the last 5 weeks and both wouldn't wait for the 13 plate and specifically wanted 62 plates in case the grim reaper sythed em down!
Dealer fitted the Oxford Hot Grips so not sure where the box is yet. They initially said they didn't have time to do the Hot Grips and I thought, no worries' I'll do it myself and fit the Datatool ones as they look nicer. Bike turned up with those on so guess they'll do then! Tax disc came fitted to the cotton real M8 thread on the rear swingarm so being as the reels are in the post as we speak I thought I'd better find a better place for the Disc. After 10 mins I worked out if I put the Disc holder tab in the vice and bent it over at about 40 degrees and 20mm down from the mounting hole it would fit perfectly on the top right hand side mirror securing bolt. Yes the bars 'Kiss' it slightly on full left lock but it's nowt really and will keep it dry mostly.
I mean the control box for the temperature that we can see in the picture on the left side .Just noticed ,you havent got the bar end weights on. I have fitted the heated grips 2 weeks ago and the weights are back on mine ( my bike is exactly the same as yours )so if its the dealer thats not put them back on ask why .
The Bar end weights are not back on mate because my bars aint the same as yours. I've had Gillies Riser Variobars fitted and the Honda bar ends are unique to Honda bars I believe, sumat about a half moon keyway locating lug etc. http://www.performanceparts-ltd.com...ises_Bars_by_40mm_Incluides_Longer_Brake_Hose Have ordered some nice anodised Gilles Bar ends which should arrive tomorrow hopefully.
She looks awsome!! My opinion may be biased as I have one too!! Is that the R&G tail tidy? I need one of those... Enjoy Ozz
Yes it's an R&G Tailtidy Chris. Bought an Evotec Rad guard as well which was a bastard to fit, but being an engineer I overcame some 2 hours later!
I haven't used those tyres before but Jamie Whitham rates them in this top ten tyre review. Can't be that bad mate. Whitham's Ultimate All Weather tyre test - Conclusion - Page 10 - Motorcycle Top 10s - Visordown
Nice same blade as mine, where in cheshire are you we will have to have a ride out, what screen is that ?
That's made me feel a 'little' better Paul! Explorer, I'm not far out of Crewe, screen is a Zero Gravity Sports Touring, tiz spot on for the longer rides/touring. Windscreen Innovators - Zero Gravity
I had the Dunflop Qualifiers on mine as standard from new and they were utter crap. Qualifier 2's I've also read they're an ok tyre too.
