The best and most accurate time to measure the pressures are straight after you come in after ya a session on a TD. Racing then you have no option but to go with measurements after 45 mins min in the warmers.
Next question What sort of questions will be asked on the ACU licence test? Is it multiple choice and what do we need for revision??
Mad Matt's Road to BSB Glory It's a piece of piss. What different colour flags mean, start procedures and erm.....not a lot else. You get taught everything on the day. If you can't pass it then you are officially mince!
Mate don't get all worked up about it like o did the answers are told before you answer its a piece of piss to be honest just common sense
and concerned about missing your call to the holding area,it's not like a trackday where you can sneak into the next race
Eye test done and past Fookin thing took 45mins, not like the old days when you just read a few letters from a board...
Your right about about the old days ,Ken took his test with an old biffer walking in front of him with a white flag.
Theres nothing like having brand shinny new tyres fitted Attempted to get the RR's but no one around here had them or could get them.. Last two jobs for now and the bike is complete, lock wiring and suspension...
Slight hitch with progress, after chatting to Jase today and doing a little research i now know that my suspension is all wrong, wrong linkage and wrong springs. There for someone much much heavier than myself .. Should have made sure the suspension was the first thing on my list of things to do, oh bollocks.... P.s, i can hear scooby somewhere saying, "told ya so"...
if it was me though Matt,as good as kais are, theres no substitute for being on the track and getting set up there, then you and (james@IFM for example) can make changes,go out and see the effects there and then, plus as time goes on and you get faster, you'll want to make alterations, and it's far easier to do when the suspension guy is there, also explaining why/what each thing or change does.plus pay once and he will look after you for as long as you need him too.
