First race is 25/25th of March mate at Oulton, will be visiting Brands a few times next year as i need to learn it before we race there on 24/25th of September.. Please pop over to say hello, there will be a few from here and we have a great laugh....
Possibly the Best spec track bike on the forum ? Love it mate hats off Looking forward to seeing it buddy
Sadly as Jimbo and Cookie have said I've no chance in the race as its very different so a mid pack would be great....
You should go out in NL Cup 1000s matt and have a play with me jase jimbo and wedgie!! You'll do just as good!
Oi!! I've never said you have no chance, just not to get hung up on times etc when you have 8 mins to qualy you aint likely to hit your PB's etc.... so dont let that bother you! you'll be fine mate, just enjoy it that all i'd say... and yes, def do some cup races, it's pretty much same pace imo. just a little less crazy ha
Racing is fuckin mega!!! Dont worry about times or positions and just let yourself enjoy it!! If you're having fun and feeling relaxed you will always pull it out the bag wether it's a PB or a top ten or whatever. Just don't put pressure on yourself otherwise it gets too serious. After the shit time we had this year me and wedge had 3 months off and then i went back to cadwell expecting nothing... took 5 seconds off my PB and then went to donington and got a 4th from 40 bikes on the grid. If I'd of gone there expecting anything too much I doubt i would have done so well or enjoyed it as much as i did! Year 1 is all about learning the trade to be honest as it is nothing like a trackday.
couldn't agree more mate!! it's too much of my own money not to be fun! ha.... next year for me is all about getting consistent, having a crack and putting this year behind me! ha
I seem to be missing out here with not doing the NL1000s, everyone seems to be racing in this class. Hmmmmmmm......
35 bike grids... most of them ya mates... all on equal (well ish) 1000cc bikes.... know where you are when you cross the line and not all split up in classes... 4 race weekends.... respectable pace.... and a great crack.... Nah it's pants mate
Sounds boring that, no fun and I can't see why you are doing it. If it wasn't for wanting to do more of the roads, the Manx and TT, I would be there for sure.
