When i had me R6 the mechanics at cmc cannock ( i will name them cus they r fookin idiots!! ) left bolts loose n even caused damage to my bike when servicing. Luckily for me the service dept manager replaced the damaged parts n booked bike in to have everything tightened up. Thats all good n well but we pay through the noses for servicing of our bikes ( prices that car drivers would be up in arms at paying n hence y car servicing costs alot less n have far greater service intervals ) so we expect a service that reflects these prices. i just wish the managers would keep an eye on the mechanics work n even do a dip check now n then on the work, to see what the mechanic has done n if done correctly. All they have to do is say, right talk me through what you done, why you dine n what fault if any you found n how you have rectified it, or have sum bugger watch them do the work, its not that hard is it?? And agree, any bike mechanic can service your bike as long as they use OE then ur warranty remains, the law was updated few yrs back to stop main dealers ripping people off under the " well if you want your warranty to remain in place " Cant fault my Honda dealer at the mo, when they were doing me first service i was stood in the garage talking to the mechanic with cup of tea in hand, whilst he carried out this minor service n fitting me racefit can, so i knew everything was done correctly
