very shortly ill be in the market for a new helmet, very tempting to go custom, especially when seeing the quality is like that
That is really well done. My oldest is an artist but never thought of asking him to do anything with my lids, but if he did they would be shelf warmers to look at seeing as I can't ride with anything other than white. Do you have to use special paint and lacquer so it won't damage the helmet in any way ?
No just use your standard water based paints, But some firms make their own water based paints And call them airbrush paints....at three times the price. You can pick up starter airbrush for about 100 quid.if he Is artistic he will pick it up easy enough, its all stencils Taping and the odd bit of freehand.
