I ended up going with Bemoto. Was more expensive than Bennetts as I went for the extra cover. Not going to bother with a Section 75 claim against MCE, the difference in what I had paid against the expected refund isn't enough to make it worth the time and hassle, I'll simply just out them on the "never use them again" list.

Just had another email stating that they will be processing the cheques on 1st February and that they could take several weeks. Meanwhile at the bottom of the email they are inviting you to get a quote.

They are really taking the piss now, not a day goes by without more emails and texts telling me my policy has ended, and them offering to place a new one for me I'm really starting to hope the whole effing business closes, and that pisses me off more as the poor employees are the ones who would suffer if that were to happen. So instead I will hope the Owner/Chairman/CEO gets genital warts that become infected with a really nasty bacteria
@bazzashadow I've just had a renewal quote from Bennett's up from £86 last year to £130 so went on MCN and got cover with Devitt £80 comprehensive
