the last 2 suggestions would be out for me. South great. middle for diddle but if it's to far east Will be way to far for me. gatwick area is 3 hours plus drive. Reading 1 half. I am quite far away from the Motorway so takes me 20-30 mines just to get to the M4. Would like it if it was Just west of the M25. Only thinking it's not that difficult if others from the south west also want to come along

I can only ride for an hour at a time, after that it gets too painful. Think we are gonna have to have area meets regularly and a National Meet or 3 in the sping n summer???

You ever leave Romney marsh megs?? Lol

How about rykers cafe? Great meet already in summer months, and nice pub across the road for darker colder evenings?
Might even be doable for you megs, up the a21 and along a25 or m25!!

It's prob just over an hour for most of us Kent boys too... And a decent ride up the a25 from the oakdene.

Like I said mate, I can't travel far these days. I've done Rykas/Boxhill a few times. A lot of bikes there and also a lot of Police in marked and unmarked cars. Also speed cameras on all the local roads. Rykas food is known for being inedible and puke inducing. I like a good rideout when I go to a meet and I know my local roads are good and lacking in police attention!

The bikes are good to look at and the pub across the road does decent food I'm sure!!

Never had a problem police wise there- just don't ride like a c()nt 200 yards from the entrance.

Dont care where really - whever suits everybody.

Does this have to be a bike meet during the winter? Why not just a meet? car/bike what anyone wants to come in? main thing is getting people together for a meet. not a rideout

    just a thought

You are right Matt, a winter meet would mean most people travelling by car anyway!

If its not dinging down... I'll be on the bike! But wouldn't give a shite if someone turned up in their four wheel cage!? Lol

It's more about getting together IMO... With you nutty, gatecrash some other meets. But be good to get a regular(ish) local meet going.

I think these regional meets will be a good idea, it's always great to actually meet people we "talk" to online, I also believe it's been mentioned before? But how about we have regional boards where members can post things that pertain to the area they live in, this would make it easier to keep up with events/ride outs in our area, to try and take off a little amount of work load for the moderators we all ready have, a member of the forum in that area could moderate the board for them?
    Just an idea being reborn?
Answers on a postcard please :D

The more I look at the members map the more tunbridge wells seems like the best place for the majority for a south east meet??

How does that sit with you guys?

All depends if we want to find a nice venue to get together or tag onto an existing bike meet? Thoughts please...

There are some great pubs etc... But not sure of an actual bike meet.

What I was getting at - what would people prefer??
