a few pics from today Westy pitted next door putting the Moto 2 back together amazing to watch them strip it after ever session
So who are all those low lifes queuing to get their picture took with your missus then Shane's. Bloody hanger ons. lol.
Well, I think we're deep enough into the week to talk a bit about the actual racing, now. If that's not the case and there are those amongst us who have yet to see the results of the weekend, I'm not really going to post any spoilers regarding the events suffice to say that it appears now that even the organisers are getting bored enough to end the race halfway through, to beat the traffic going home. A cruel comment perhaps, considering the weather conditions they were riding in but the result sort of sums up the year. I'm worried that the season may well go down to the wire as far as the eventual champion is concerned but I wont have enough interest left to be bothered. With George trying to influence the marshals to end the race early before Stoner could catch him and help Pedrosa narrow the points gap on one hand and watching Shane Byrne risk a virtually "in the bag" championship for the sake of putting an overtaking move on the most unpredictable rider in BSB history because second place isn't good enough and "the bike deserved it". Hmmm.... Now which one shall I series link next year.......?
Agree with you there, Ken. Something needs to be done and I'm not sure a spec ECU will be the answer. Losing Sic last year and Stoner at the end of this has massive implications on an already labouring championship. Marquez coming up to the premier class and Rossi back on a competitive bike are the only small glints but realistically it'll be a straight two-horse race for the title next year. Great riders as Lorenzo and Pedrosa are, they aren't bringing the crowds flocking and with WSBK being ever-closer then it must only be a matter of time before they merge. The organisational side has already been put in place so I'd reckon on 2015 for a merger.
Ben spies out for rest of season, injury was worse than they thought after a 3 hour operation, it's just not been a good year for him!
Right now Bens Pies is probably sat at home with a voodoo doll of his Yamaha... Mind You if he thinks the Ducati is going to be any better......
Heard that they're not going to run it as it was too late to get someone in, although why not give Bradley Smith a run out on it? He's moving up to the satellite team next year and he's not pushing for anything in Moto2 for the rest of this season.
Well Tommy Hill's doing nothing and James Ellison is liable to be unemployed next year, both have Yamaha experience but it will probably be that other yank again or a factory development rider if anyone.
i just watched one of eurosports 'super slo mos' of casey drifting it round his own corner. i think i felt a little chubby comin on! pure porn!!
