a brit on each podium was good to see too! Was gutted about Marquez but hopefully he will learn from his mistake
Well caught up with the race and what a race. First time I've been glad who finished first. And good on him. But I was more pleased with who came second Not giving spoliers just in case
Same here. Very pleased with the positions all round. I just want this season over and done with. I feel like I can't relax
Haha felt like that just at the end of the race. Hoping if a certain person win's this year's championship they may do a R1 to celebrate and I can get one
I wonder if we will a Lorenzo 99 replica R1 now is that what you meant but don't park it near any italian's
I currently have 7 hours of Motogp free practice from today to catch up on.......you should see the Mrs' face
I saw some of it today. The good thing with recordings is that you can fly through the ads and crap. That might get you down to 4 hours and reinstate the wife's smile!!
Its looking like a tight championship this year but I can still see MM93 taking it! Much prefer the actual racing in wsbk or bsb at the moment though! Much more exciting!
BSB I agree is top class and very close racing at the moment and looking like we are going to have a lot of different rider's on the podium this season. WSBK is ridiculously boring 'at the moment' and I just can't get excited about it at all like I used to in the 90's when you had the likes of Edwards, Bayliss, Bostrom, Xaus, Corser etc etc. That was an amazing period in WSBK and obviously the Fogarty era before that! I had hoped that this season would be better to watch and though I will watch it religiously it's still a bit boring. Moto GP is on another level all together in my opinion, it's the pinnacle of motorcycle sport and you can feel that through BT sports brilliant coverage! Can't get enough of it!
I reckon Dovi to win it this year. Stay on the bike and keep collecting the points. It would not surprise me to see Marquez DNF in a race and then the task gets harder as he chases points to make up for the loss of points by a DNF. The luck has been with him, but if he collects a couple of DNFs or a small injury caused by trying too hard, then the Championship could be lost.
Equally, Dovi could have a couple of DNFs and a small injury. But remember, Marquez had an effective DNF in Argentina with his relegation to 18th. This week, he bounced back to only one point behind. He might as well make space in his trophy cabinet for the 2018 silverware!! Also, Honda's reliability is unquestioned, save for Marquez's engine blow in last year's British GP. Ducati, however, struggles at some circuits.
