MotoGP Main Thread

To do with the Valentino Rossi thing - as a Yamaha rider myself I feel a bit peeved at having to buy VR46 branded stuff all the time for MotoGP. Vinales number 12 merchandise was not available, only a few number 25 merchandise items seemed to be available for MotoGP.

I feel like being corralled into being a VR46 groupie when I just want to show support for Yamaha Factory Racing

Consequently I have bought other merchandise that does not have any VR46 - like GMT94 Yamaha Racing, and Pata Yamaha.

I am sure he will stay involved in racing somehow, even after his eventual retirement.

 

Fancy that eh.........

Marc Marquez has signed 4 year extension with Honda

 

No chance of him winning with another manufacturer any time soon then!!

He'll probably fall out with Honda when they sack his brother at the end of this season

 

So Honda have basically said no-one else is capable of riding their bike competitively for the foreseeable future. Can't imagine any other top rider will want to ride as no 2 to MM when he is that dominant in the organisation, so when MM eventually is out injured Honda will be struggling.

Bet the money was several layers above significant though.

Get refunds on what I can I suppose - don't fancy getting quarantined there. Pants, just have to take the hit, double pants.....

Flights with Qatar Airways cancelled - **** Hotel no less, in Doha cancelled - Premier Inn Gatwick (with full brekie !) cancelled - MotoGP ticket, maybe get a refund.

Hmm I like to think the IOM is made of stronger stuff...I'll be gutted for the island and industry that relies on the income, if it does impact...
