To be honest I remember that race more for the change in Marc Marquez's racing career. Before then he had to win everything 100% of the time without exception, even if he crashed trying.

That race in Assen Marquez took a step back and realized he could crash trying to beat Miller, so he took the wise move and settled for second and bagged the points.

Even though Miller won, I still remember it for Marquez wisely accepting second place and bagging the points.

 

It was a strange old race that's for sure......I remember thinking Yonny Hernandez was going to win it at one point......was gutted when he crashed....love an underdog

 

Well Miller now unofficially has the fastest ever lap of Qatar.

Marquez will miss the start of the season......
