I wouldn't say that he's done worse, but Marquez and Rossi are definitely more alike than most seem to realize.
I don't think it is now. MM always used to bounce well allowing him to push to an extreme that others couldn't. Now he is paying the price for all those crashes and the youngsters are so fast and consistent that he has to risk everything to compete. He will still be good, but never as good as he was and without the longevity of Rossi.
I think Fabio Quartararo has great personality even though he is French! He's got real charisma and passion, and I dont think he has upset too many folks just yet.
MM only needs one more championship to draw level with Vale and at only 28 still has time to do that and surpass him, however I am not sure he can last as long as Vale due to his injuries, only time can tell, however I doubt any can ever best Ago's 15 World Championship titles? The true master
Rossi became a personality when his mucking about after winning a race was allowed. He gave people what they wanted before during and after a race, entertainment. Unfortunately MotoGP rules and cow towing to corporate bollocks means personality is no longer allowed.
Ducati are really gunning for the title. Not sure Marquez will be able to hold them off for a whole season - especially if he continues his habit of falling over Perhaps Dorna should bring in a new rule that limits the number of fairings and handlebars a rider is allowed during a season - to stop all this professional crashing After you have used your 10 sets then you have to go naked
Must admit I have just recently got back into MotoGP after quite a lay off. The amount of crashes is totally new to me. I think Pol Aspargaro totalled his Repsol bike in nearly every session during one MotoGP weekend. Them things cost an absolute bomb. Has it been like this for a while? I never remember anything like this at the end of the 500cc or early MotoGP years.
That’s an interesting idea. No fairing if you bin more than 10. Yeah, I’m with that. Now we need an idea that would mean you lose your electronics package.
