Such a race.hope that opener is a sign of what the season ahead Of us will be like.can honestly say at one point my heart was racing And my hands were sweating. Hadn't been as excited since Ireland Was about to lift the six nations grand slam.
Jeanette left the room just as Rossi closed down the gap on Crutchlow. Said she wouldn't be able to watch from that point on, and I'm not ashamed to admit I watched the last 3 laps stood up.
It's been 2 years since I can honestly say that I have enjoyed a Motogp race. Not only because Rossi is back to his usual antics, but also that you can see this is going to be a cracking season. I was on the edge of my seat for most of the race, and to watch Rossi bridge to gap to 4th before making his way through, was what the races have been missing, in that someone was there to stir things up. Also Marquez to me is exactly the kind of talent that makes you want to stand up and take notice of Motogp again. Bring on the next round, can't wait.
Oh yes missus. But seriously, I was getting a bit excited and didn't want to soil the sofa. I've always had a worry about Smith but really regret not putting a fiver on it when, during the grid walk, as they got to Abraham, I said to J "He'll be on his arse before the first lap's out".
It's weird this year. There are quite a few I want to see win. Obviously Valentino because I......well......he's Valentino. I'd like to see Cal win 'cos he's British. I'd also like to see Dani win 'cos he seems like such a nice geezer. I remember seeing this a while back and he seemed so genuine. Not fake nice. About the only one I don't really want to see win in George Lawrence. My guess is that he'll be doing that a lot though.
Dani nice ? This is the same bloke who for the past 4years has turned his back on the tv cameras whilst in the garage .ignorant little prick I would say .
Thourghly enjoyed that race. Good to see Rossi back at the front and the old " what if he didn't run wide on that corner ". Lorenzo will take some beating this year though. Pedrosa will never win a world championship in moto GP. It's just a pity stoner wasn't still on the Honda along side Marquez.
Random fact: if Marquez manages to win a race soon ( not sure how soon ) he will break Kenny Roberts record for youngest ever GP winner Edit its Freddie Spencer with the youngest race winning record. Kenny was the only go rider to win the title in his first year
That was the worse attempt to sing The Star Spangled Banner that I have ever and will ever hear WTF was that about?
