It's Techflex split braided tubing. I purchased a few different sizes in Orange from eBay. Here is a link to the product but it's pretty cheap. About a dollar a foot US.
Yea I like the wife to. I think she is a keeper.

Thanks very much RR, found the uk supplier and hav just ordered a load of the black stuff to tidy up my loom. For those who are intersted it's these folk Hypex Ltd
