Yeah, nice Bike Dave! Now close the door on ya way out, there's a good chap! Suzuki GSX-R Motorcycle Forums: Gixxer.com
Just an update on the Suzuki brake recall which has been knocking about in the news .I popped into my local Dealer Millenium today and had a chat with the service dept .Suzuki have wrote to them to state a recall is to be carried out but no date set yet and we are to await the letter from Suzuki direct ,this is standard procedure .There is no defined issue yet stated but the service technician is saying there is a part or parts which may attract corrosion within the brake system if the brake fluid is not changed every two yours and as per the service booklet. As we are all aware brake fluid in its self can attract moisture (water) and it looks like Suzuki are are being a responsible company changing these parts mainly because the issue can arise if punters don't have there bikes correctly serviced which in turn will have a negitive affect on the brake fluid thus vital brake parts could in time corrode .
