Cheers gents it's not quite shanes RSV4 but it's my first one so we'll see how it goes!

I'm in beginners fella, it's my first track day and the first time I'll be on that bike lol

Infact I would as well, you get left to your own devices

 

I'm not allowed for two reasons, never been on track n never been their!

 

I went to cadwell for the first time in beginners for the same reason, but after two sessions i was so pissed off with people all over the place and it was ruining my day ! I am not being stupid or having illusions of grandeur I know i am shite ..... but if your confident your a quick rider look to move up to inters or fast asap as the people in those groups know where they should be on track, when they should brake and if your in the way they just overtake safely and get on with it

 

My mind set is do 2-3 sessions see how I feel if they ain't moved me up I may ask to be moved up

 

Hope you had a fantastic day Benn, did you ask to get moved up in the end or was the group well behaved and the majority cracking on with it.

 

How did it go Ben, you and the bike looked great, did the weather hold out for you ?

 

Weather was perfect till about 2.30 so I think I got 4-5 sessions in!

I loved it I couldn't get on with having no rear break lever as when I started picking up my speed after 10 years of reaching for the rear brake with my right foot it just wasn't happening!

So I forgot about it and used purely the front, it was a big long circuit to try and learn on top of everything else but so much fun.

Gonna move me up but basically they had only about 30 novices and same for fast group but over 80 riders in each group so about 50 in my novice group were actually inters so I stayed put!

Long and short is im hooked the road gloves are pretty much hung up and I can't wait for the next one lol!

 

brilliant. TD's are the nuts, but maybe just a little TOO addictive. I'm seriously considering getting a trailer or a bigger van and 'tracking' the blade for next year. that way i can have fun and keep hold of my license! lol
