Gary, is your new bike painted original fairings? Or after markets? Every time I look at the pictures I get a hard on, I want a rothmans now :D:)

It's probably an aftermarket fairing as there's no 20th Anniversary sticker on the tank (although there will be as they were giving them away at the NEC years ago if I can find it).
a mate sent me this link to see if was the same one, but it's not quite the same. https://monsterfairings.com/honda-c...0rr-12-16.html?SubmitCurrency=1&id_currency=5

Did you ever get a radiator guard for your Blade as I'll need one for this as it's completely open to the elements.

I’ve been looking at aftermarket fairings but none look as right as yours! Yes got a Racing Radiator Guards one, £45 iirc with HRC logo on, fits well, RRG do standard ones on eBay or custom ones on Facebook, he will do any design you want mate.

Thanks. I've messaged him to see if he'll do a HRC one.

Just got a reply back to say that he's not making any more custom ones. Just the £30 plain ones on eBay. He didn't say why.

He wasn’t making any when I had mine done but a month later he started again, ask him if he’s got any plans to?

He said he won't be doing any Honda ones this side of summer, whoever that means. I may just bite the bullet and go plain.

Great purchase Muffers!! Does this mean you've joined the two bike brigade (not counting the track bike) or have you sold your Castrol?:)

Clear tank grippers wise, just debating Eazi grips or Stomp grips myself. Not sure there is much choice other than that ;)

@Muffking looks great in that scheme.

I've used Eazi-Grips on my last 3 bikes, decent quality, went on nicely with the Mrs' hairdryer and had no problems.

You can make that 4 at the moment (3 of which are Fireblades), 2 track bikes and 2 road bikes.
The RR5 is up for sale though. I only need 1 road bike. https://www.1000rr.co.uk/threads/2006-honda-cbr1000rr5.39166/

Should be good for a ride on it this Sunday as my last ride on the RR5 will be for it's MOT this Wednesday.

    Oh, now that I LIKE!

Back in the day my Dad did some legal work for Rothmans, and we blagged some VIP all-access tickets to the British GP at Silverstone. Must have been '85, as Freddie Spencer was riding, and I think Wayne Gardner. It was all very basic I seem to recall, and we had lunch sat on trestle tables opposite the riders. It really was total access. The whole Rothmans blue colour scheme is etched through those memories. I thought it was so cool, even though I probably didn't even know what Rothmans was. Always associated it with Honda since then.

Thanks. Took it out for the first time today, it's quite different to my RR5. Noticeably quicker, although that may partly be helped by the addition of a quickshifter.
I read your comments about Eazi grips sheets on the other thread too, so I may buy those for the tank trims.
