    I'll be there Tuesday and you can be sure I'll be all over it.
    For now though, if there was any carbon, you'd be sure it would already be mentioned;
    Pillion cowl is already listed as an accessory (no price available as yet) https://www.honda.co.uk/motorcycles/range/super-sport/cbr1000rr-r-fireblade-sp/accessories.html
    We can presume wheels are stock cast otherwise there would be reference to forged;
    We can hope an aftermarket manufacture ( R & G ) latches on to making a proper exhaust hangar;
    Close ups of clutch lever show no adjustment:

    That top yoke is painfully plain looking.

    Well at those prices looks like my good old red (paid for) 2012 for at least another year.

    Agreed, needs to look like this and made of gold to justify the claimed price o_O:D

    Personally i think all bike prices will continue to climb, my suspicious mind moves towards the need to normalise the price of the future replacement that runs on Duracell’s.........

    Thin paint? Badly assembled? Careless journalist?

    Don't think it is trick of the light as partly in shadow.

    Cheers from Down Under. Given the cheddar cheese their going to be retailing for I feel a little silly needing to ask. What other sportsbike at that price rolls out with cheaper/heavier cast wheels?? There's rides for less than half that with clutch span adjustability too. New Age Honda logic...

    Got my blade for £10,000 brand new in 2015, will the new blade be twice the bike for twice the price? We’ll have to wait and see.

    I am astounded to read of these 2015 - 16 prices. I was not aware as I was yet to make my 'comeback' to bikes. Taking this into account, no one could justify a 100% increase over 3 - 4 years. Honda will say there's a lot of new technology in the 2020 bike, but equally, nearly every new release has new technology - think variable valve timing, counter-rotating cranks, et al. Those manufacturers do not significantly raise the price - they keep in line the the current market.

    The 2020 Blade has some new innovation, but would not be much dearer to produce than the outgoing 2017 - 19 model. We can also take into account that Honda is manufacturing components in Thailand and India, thereby improving their retained profit. So, to see the base model jump from £15,769 (Source: Honda UK website: https://www.honda.co.uk/motorcycles/range/super-sport/cbr1000rr-fireblade/specifications.html ) to 19,999 is, to me, taking advantage of Honda customers, OR, in plain language, taking the piss.

    I have just this minute returned from my dealer. They claim to not have the officially released price structure as yet. I suspect the price was released at the media conference yesterday and has not been officially relayed to dealers.:rolleyes: My view is that Honda might fall flat on this one as I cannot see too many pre-ordering at these prices. Certainly, I was like a kid with a Christmas toy catalogue when I first saw the pics, but have now come to my senses and will not allow Honda to believe that the market will go crazy over this bike by pre-ordering - unless my dealer comes up with something extraordinarily special.

    Just if anyone can’t wait? I’m 5’10 and 12.5 stone just to give an idea on the size of the bike.

    Yeah give me a clean machined finish any day, did they forget to paint the pegs?? That plastic cover on the yoke nut sure finishes a $50k AUD bike off for sure too o_O
