The SC82 is actually taller, wider, lower, longer and heavier than the SC77. Seat height is 4mm lower but pegs are 6mm higher and the whole package is 7kgs heavier. Everyone wanted big HP, big tyres and big swingarm... all came at a weight penalty. Engine alone is 4kgs heavier.
Seeing the pics I want one now. Looks amazing and I love the colour scheme. Seeing that colour scheme I would be surprised if they sell many black ones (please don’t ban me from the site, I mean the black painted Motorcycle).
Seeing that colour scheme I would be surprised if they sell many black ones which is the exact reason the bsb Bike’s are black! Race on Sunday sell on Monday.
When you say 10 times better? In what way? Power delivery? 25 more HP so that is understandable. More stable? It is 50mm longer wheelbase so that is understandable? Or some other dynamic feel?
Saw one this afternoon coming the other way looks good from the front however can't tell the difference between a standard one or sp on the move should have given the sp a different paint scheme ....I think the black in this is really suiting the bike shape ....need to have a spin on one..
I might Chop in my sp in January........depends what the deals Honda are offering. Hunts have just got one in so I need to go and have a proper look.
I have got the service plan until end of this sept so will get that done then see what else comes out next year surely new zx10r soon and R1m may get updated late 2021 ,.....not going near the BMW .....V4s maybe but back into a world of drama not only owning it but handful to ride..
For Christ's sake avoid Hunts if you're thinking of buying one. John Brown.... Go to Rochdale or another Honda dealer.
Haha I've had two new bikes off them, most recently my SP. I know what you're getting at though. I normally deal with Scott who used to run Sale Yamaha centre, known him for about 20 years so generally I've been looked after, but there have been erm..... Shall we say, moments
But you're supporting the dishonest so and do. I refuse to support a dishonest businessman I put a thread on here about out my experience
Hang on a minute don't drag me into your issue with them! My experience's with them have not been because of dishonesty. I had a problem and they rectified it and I was compensated financially. I don't appreciate being accused of supporting dishonesty!
Not dragging you in at all. Sorry if you got that impression. He's a crook, that's the truth sadly. I've had lies, deception the lot from John. I ended up lodging a formal complaint with Honda about him
I get that you had a bad experience, many people have had bad experiences at many dealers all over the country. But you can't go around accusing people of supporting dishonesty for wanting to look at or buy a bike from the dealer in question or any dealer for that matter. Shit happens and a lot is down to genuine mistakes and bad communication. Say what you want about the dealer but not about someone who may choose to go there. I hope you got your problem sorted and your complaint got a positive result!
That's about the measure of it in my opinion. Probably a bad experience reported in every Honda dealership if you ask around. Although I have to say I've heard it more than once about Hunts. My blade is from Hunts, bought from Scott. No issues with him, got an issue resolved that I had very handily and without any arguing.
I agree. Sitting on one at NEC felt very cramped. Bike does look amazing. I wouldn't turn it down if I could afford to change my 2018 SP1
Poor review. More like a sunday night bike ride. Barely using any throttle and getting giddy going over a few hill crests. Talks about front end going light, not very likely at his speeds. I got bored after a few minutes.
