Wonder if Nigel has bought this? He likes a matching helmet. Hope he is enjoying his new machine as are the rest of you lucky people!
I see you've taken the hideous reflectors off already both the dealer and I agreed it'll probably be my first "mod" too
Test ride booked first thing Saturday morning got it out for a couple of hrs......will give update once been on it ...
Yes 18c at time on it on the costa del South.....Sp version.....as currently have the outgoing Sp ....looking forward to it.....will take it on favourite roads...
So couple of hours on it 1st thing ....wow I thought it was all hype far from it the new one spins up so quickly 1st is 85mph plus it loves revs.....but effortless there is a point about 10k revs it goes mental ....I'm talking like I've never ridden before........you can def feel the extra bhp....balance of the bike is great it feels shorter and you feel very much part of the front...turn in effortless ...gearbox very smooth and Dash is good graphics and modes as before very ease to switch between......race bike with lights...comfort is mid way your not on it or in it its in between.
Only 250 this year dealers have 4 to 6 per shop.....Apr 5.9% ...negs are can't for phone under seat Cowl ...keyless is good but key is massive just like a car would of good to be credit card size and look special .....no pocket in my race leathers so just shoved it in ....so do I want one .....Yes we'll wait until next season ...and as I have said before sp should be different colours to standard however finish is spot on and colour scheme .....looks full factory from the front and cheeky little rear......enjoyed more than the BMW and v4s I rode recently....
I enjoyed it much more than the BMW too - felt very monotonous to me. I did like the V4S a lot but reliability concerns, service costs and the bloody heat from it turned me away. The Honda also felt more fun to ride whereas the V4S was a lot of work. Got mine home today! Removed the reflectors and changed the display view only. Noticed it has the best toolkit of all the Blades:
Some photos of Mods done to the new Blade and rear peg delete for @Wozza . Evotech radiator and oil cooler guards. HRC oil filler cap and frame protectors. Evotech rear peg delete and tail tidy. Evotech rear peg delete and enduro paddock stand lifts.
That's my baby, excellent run out and she didn't disappoint one bit, well except for the sore arse, not the most comfortable of seats at all. And yes it was the one and only you were talking to @NS400R, had a nice spirited ride back to Bala with very little traffic and lots of twisty stuff, great!! Still smiling now.
He was another Richard who bought his bike from same place as mine, he'd only just picked his up that day.
