So @nigelrb, long time no hear - whats your assessment of the new blade then (assuming you have yours now)?
And @nigelrb your Triumph Daytona 765 Moto 2... Just asked for a trade-in value for my RA-H standard fireblade against an RR-R SP- will probably wait until next year before making a decision. I'll eagerly await the response as I've now covered 15,000 miles on mine (just had its big service, and 2nd replacement front brake microswitch which seems to go around every 5,000 miles of riding)..
I've got KTM Super Duke which is keyless. The physical key is only used for removing the pillion seat. The fuel cap is keyless on it but locks after 30(?) seconds of ignition off. The steering lock is initiated by holding the ignition button for five seconds on the KTM *might* be the same on the new Blade Sweet write by the way
Can't afford a new RR-R SP right now, how about this instead. https://www.emodels.co.uk/tamiya-1-...dLF3eCbl0XuZoQrWyO63qP8g4jVXJkConXNiVY-cMjDco
But wasn't it nice of him to think of us poor peasants by offering us the chance to own the 30 quid version
I've built a few Tamiya kits many years back. Biggest issue is the decals are translucent so spoil the kit.
If you look at the photos of the model below right at the end you'll see 2X photos of a really one, yes mine. Was at the Shell garage yesterday and guy comes running over asking to take photos, did realise until I looked today he was the owner of the store and here on holiday in Wales, go figure.
So mcn give the new one 3 out of 5 ....v4s 4 out of 5 and shock horror Surprise BMW 5.......don't agree with half of the comments....
I've just seen Neeves MCN review and he has it at 4☆? https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.mo...-reviews/honda/cbr1000rr-r-fireblade-sp/2020/
