Subframe looks the same. I wonder if the fairing will be able to fit on older models. I wouldnt mind that sharper tail unit

Love the waythe rear seat flares out a bit, the dash looks great and the way the tank is integrated into the seat instead of infill panels

Not sure I like the side fairings how they go up past the headlights. I prefer the old front end.

It's got the same crappy brake cylinder as the current bike.

BPF front end will be class.

I bet it's an easy upgrade for 08 bikes too if the forks are the same diameter.

+1 on keeping them wheels clean! Nightmare, I've just moved from a rrw to the 2011 3 spokes and they are a pleasure to clean rather than what's on the rrw! At least it's out now and apart from the clocks and forks on the 2012 I'm very happy with my 2011 thank you.

Got to agree with the wheels. going from the multi spoke Speed Triple to the blade is great and so much easier to clean. I like the new 2012 blade but will be enjoying my 2011 blade for a few years yet

I wonder about Traction Control... I can't see any larger, more prominent 'active' lights on the dash.. normal you get a super bright LED or something to let you know its active.
I was looking at the lights on the dash and there is one red light to the left, next to the left turn signal which could be it, but you would think it should be more prominent...

The other option is it looks like the 5 white lights on the top of the dash could be some sort of indication, but you would normally see these as REV limiter signals..

    Hmmm indeed!

I also wonder if you can retro fit the digital dash to the 08-11 bike...

For me the biggest thing is what is not there.

Where are the sensors for all the electrickery we are expecting ? I can't see the wheel sensors for ABS let alone TC & AW. Also no switches on the handle bars to change power modes.

Other than that it's nice but not enough for me to trade my 2011.

Not enough yet for me to get rid of my '10, still couple of years finance left yet, and it needs to be startling for me to change.

Still, await the test reviews with interest though.

Would love to see her in Red & Black.

You know Honda is always going to have a Red one available.
