Considering i saw this lift at the NEC and thought long and hard.............. only still to be bull shitted off........almost offered my electrical contracting skills to bypass the fucking meter and get them assembling again ! Oh and to be told they was making the special pins ???? when last week they was still waiting for em to arrive ???? ummmmmmm "Watson i think they are telling Fibs" !
Money back time mate. I seen this at the NEC show also and was quite impressed. I'm sure there is a German company making the same sort of lift. Maybe cost more but it'll be stress free and you know it'll work and won't be built to a budget. : Bursig bike lift. Check it out on YouTube.
Indeed i did, b t i was bloody patient and i was still using the bike through winter and i still used my Abba stand, if it was now then i would not wait. Their customer service is TRULY AWFUL and their excusses are very lame and really they dserve no credibility for being a BRITISH company.

I have heard of some poor excuses but if that was me i would CANCEL now, because you could be waiting years!!! As said their customer service is attrocious!! The lifting pins are the easist to manufacture. I really feel bad about recommending this lift given that i was backing some BRITISH engineering company but clearly they are not worried about their British market with service like this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The length of time its taking them, you would almost think they are not manufacturing them in house even! Blow them out and get the Constand unit Rob.

HOOOOOOOOOORAY ITS ARRIVED !!....... and much to my suprise what a heap of shite ! sloppy fit of lifting pins ! invoice says 2006 to 2008 model !! i wanted "2008 +" poor welding (metalwork covered in weld splatter) unit sits at angle due to to poor welding!! Paintwork chipped ! castors quiet clearly been used !!!! The classic phone call from them yesterday ended with "any probs with it Rob give us a call"....too fucking right...........oh suprise no one answering !!!!!!!!!!!!.. How does a english company like this do justice for supporting british engineering ?? IM WELL FUCKED OFF !!!!!
Blaggers raises a valid point. Nothing focusses the mind quicker than the words "Copy to BBC Watchdog" at the top of any correspondence.
Im asking for my money back........plus any costs incurred sending this unit back (as it quiet heavy) and wont be cheap to send !.............fucking waste of almost seven weeks after paying over phone with the promise of "2 to 3 days" !! plus they moved units so they say !! and they did nt have any leccy........yeah right..... Strange they havent changed addy on their invoice sent with lift...."SO WHERE DO I SEND IT BACK TO" ?????
I assume it's a registered company, so you should be able to get details off interweb from 'company house'. Should even give details of director/s. Best of british to ya mate. Er...
Totally agree Ken, that s why when i spoke to them at start of week i said if i did nt receive bt Friday i would write to "MCN"......and my letter would get published cause my cousin works for the mag !..... "he does nt really" ! but they obviously threw in what they had kicking about..................!
Rob, I just e mailed them with bullshit story about me being at caravan every other week, which is nr. York (true). Said I set off to call in to look at their highly recommended bike lift with a view to buying, only to be told they moved. So asked where to as I would visit next week. Awaiting reply and will post up IF I get one.
As i ve stopped ranting thought id take another look at this fucking lift..........seem like the wrong pins have been supplied ! So thats it im sending it back !!!!! Tossers !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
